Resilient Solutions International is a Veteran - Owned Company that provides Customized Training, Consulting, and Management Coaching as well as Disruptive Workplace Event Response for clients ranging from small entrepreneurial businesses to government agencies. We use a resilience-based model designed to help you and your team continue developing and maintaining a profitable, productive business while enhancing employee health.

Some of our training topics include:

•    How to Deal with Difficult Employees - In this workshop, we review the six most common types of difficult employees, common reasons some managers fail to act, and a 5 Step Plan for managing these situations.

•    Getting More Out of Your Day - This training will give the participants 6 time-saving secrets to being more productive.

•    Maintaining Work-life Balance - Maintaining work-life balance is a lot like riding a bicycle. In this training, participants will brief personal evaluation of their current Work-Life balance and learn four ways to improve their lives both at home and on the job.

•    Stress-Busting Strategies in a COVID-19 World - Using a resilience-based model, we identify some of the known stressors in today's world regarding the workplace and provide your team with seven proven practices they can do to lower their stress.

•    How to Feel Your Best - this workshop focuses on using mindfulness, self-care, and boundaries to maintain work-life balance and enhance emotional, mental, and physical health. 

These topics can be scaled for lunch and learn events (45-60 minutes) or expanded into a 2-hour training event.

John Thurman is the owner-operator of Resilient Solutions International, LLC. 

 His experience includes:

 Responding to over 180 Disruptive Workplace Event, including incidents ranging from industrial accidents, employee deaths, and workplace violence, John has a unique set of skills to help organizations, leaders, and employees who have been impacted by these types of events. He is a Certified Corporate Response Specialist and has extensive experience working in the Employee Assistance arena.

He has also been deployed as a Stress Counselor with FEMA to natural disasters, including The Louisiana Floods, Hurricane Harvey, Hurricane Michael, Hurricane Maria, and the Puerto Rico Earthquakes in 2020.

John has worked as an international stress management consultant, serving USAID in the Democratic Republic of Congo as well as international mission and relief organiations.

John spent five years as an Employee Assistance Consultant working with management teams from multiple Federal Agencies including, DOD, The Forest Service, ICE, and the U.S.Courts. In this role, John provided management consultations, Critical Event Support as well as Health and Wellness seminars and leadership training.

John is a Certified Corporate Crisis Response Specialist, from the National Center for Crisis Management and the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress.

John and his wife have lived in New Mexico for the past 34 years.
